Sam Leslie has served as a Chapter 7 Trustee and has extensive bankruptcy and insolvency experience. Mr. Leslie is a Managing Director at The Courtney Group and joined the firm in December 2007. Previously he was a certified public accountant and was founder and managing partner of Leslie, Engell & Associates, LLC, where he focused on advising clients on financial and tax matters related to public and private companies. David Kernan has served as chief restructuring officer and been a corporate executive, with direct oversight of sales, marketing and operations at companies including General Electric, Motorola, Ericsson, and Oracle. Tom Courtney and Michael Turner are also senior members of The Courtney Group's Distressed Company Practice. Mr. Courtney and Mr. Turner are experts in valuation and solvency related issues. Mr. Courtney has a background and expertise in advising public and private companies on financings and mergers & acquisitions and has provided expert testimony in U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Mr. Turner has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, values associated with assets including tangible and intangible assets including intellectual property. Mr. Turner has expertise in working with structured finance groups advising them on workouts and complex leveraged transactions.
